1. What's your church service like?

Liturgical worship with organ music and sung hymns. The sanctuary is historic, reverent, and beautiful; adorned with woodwork, marble, and stained glass windows. The Divine Service itself is a traditional Western liturgy, including confession, Bible readings, a Christ-centered sermon, prayer and The Lord's Supper. Our hymn boards and bulletin make it easy to follow along. 

2. How long is a Sunday church service?

Sunday services typically last anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hours. 

3. What should I wear?

You'll see a mix of everything here. Some people prefer suits and dresses, while others wear polos and pants or shorts.

5. Where do I go when I arrive?

• Attending church? Near the carport along W. Wright St., you'll enter the glass entry hall and follow the ramp up to the wooden double doors. A greeter will be there to hand you a worship bulletin.  

1. Do you have a staffed nursery?

We do not. We believe that parents are the best ones to watch over their children. There is a nursery available for little ones. It has a changing table, kid friendly restrooms, books, and toys. Ask an usher where to go. 

2. Any activities for children during church?

While we encourage all to pay attention and follow along with the service, we understand this is sometimes a difficult task for litte ones. We offer a few busy bags (containing coloring books and crayons). These can be found in the back of church. If you'd like one, please ask an usher. 

3. Where does my child go for Sunday School?

Follow the ramped glass entry hall (along W. Wright St.) to the second set of double doors. Sunday School takes place down the hall lined with confirmation pictures. Not sure where to go? Ask someone.  

Because we believe Holy Communion is a profound expression of shared scriptural belief, we ask that visitors who are not members of an LCMS congregation speak with our Pastor before the service. Those who are fellow members of the LCMS in good standing are welcome to partake of the sacrament. This practice is called "Closed Communion." Visitors are welcome to sing along with the hymns and come forward for a blessing during the distribution of Holy Communion.
